Sweet Leaf Madison Capital is the union of two seasoned specialty finance teams: Sweet Leaf Capital, one of the first private direct-lending companies in the cannabis industry founded by Ted Harris and Gabe Selko in Denver in 2015, and Madison Ventures+, an investment firm I founded in NYC over 26 years ago, focused on real estate and specialty finance.

When our teams partnered in September of 2021, we were determined to build a company that offered customized lending solutions to meet expected growth in the sector in the coming years, and to help hundreds of cannabis businesses fund growth and achieve success.
